Here's a problem i have got.. I have a Windows Server 2003 and 23 Windows XP Clients.. When i add the clients to the Windows domain.. some applications like 3ds Max, AutoCAD 2007, Maya and the like doesn't work.. Its simple stop with some error message.. When i load them from a administrator account i have no problem.. I also got the problem on a client running Visual Basic (6.0), and when i try to add ActiveX controls to the IDE, i get a Access Denied error.. The problem i can find is that the normal Users are denied access to Windows System folder. Is there any work around?? I cannot give normal users Admin privileges. anybody got and solved this kind of problem.. U See I have no problem with Microsoft Office and other software like Peachtree etc etc. feedbak awaited.

It sounds like you have a restrictive GPO or are not setting the correct app access via group membership.

How do you have app access setup?

Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search
