Hi, I am taking some server classes at Davenport. I thought I would setup my own little client server network at home. I want it to be as close to a network in the industry as possible so I am wondering what is a good enterprise level anti-virus? What do big companies use?

Thanks,

David

We use Trendmicro products, and are very happy with them, especially their support. The server anti-virus is not a heck of a lot different than PC, but there are other anti-virus approaches including Exchange and Gateway. The big thing about the workstation software is centralized deployment and management.

They have them all and have downloadable demos.

Norton makes good software. Also, Computer Associates. I've worked with both in industry and been pleased with them.

Symantec Antivirus 9.x

that's the good stuff. doesn't cut corners, great support, great resources on their own web site, easy install, easy management.

Use AVG, it's free for personal use...
