Hi:
I try to disable all p2p softwares and messenger service in my office. Are there any software I can block p2p and messenger services?

Here is my server layout
Internet -> Server(win2003) -> Router -> Clients

I plan to use the server to block it because all server connection must pass thought the server.

ISA 2006

But I wouldn't load it on your server if it's doing other server functions on your network. It should be on a dedicated server.

Also, bad idea that your main server according to the above is directly connected to the internet instead of the router.

Any Windows server other than a firewall shouldn't be directly connected to the internet without a firewall in front.

Honestly, any server period shouldn't be directly exposed to the internet without a firewall device in front.

wow, server facing the internet .. not good.

I would do it this way.
Internet -> Firewall -> (perhaps ISA) -> Server(win2003) -> Router -> Clients

ISA is a nice firewall, but more or less ment as a extra layor .. not as a primary facing firewall. Let your applience do the bulk of the filtering, ISA will do the layer 6/7 stuff.
