We are having a problem with 1 of out Windows 2003 servers. The share and ntfs permissions seem all okay. The issue is if I look at the properties of the root share the read only attribute is grey with a check in it. I am able to remove the check then it looks like it goes to all subfolders. Then I click the properties again and the check returns.
What could be happening?

Hi,

I am getting exactly the same problem on my 2 win 2003 servers after i have activated audit on a specific folder. ALL the folders of ALL Hdd have the read-only attribut!!!!
As well all the permissions have changed on all drives and folders.

I am getting crazy with that.
Any help will be very very usefull.
