after advertizing a program on MS System Management Server (on w2k3 server), its simply not showing up on the SMS client PC's (xp machines). In the SMS console, i added the package in the package section, also did advertize the program on the advertize section, and did configured the site computer on the site setting section to the best of my knowledge. i'm a newbie in SMS though, just wondering if any futher thing need to be done. any help please?

It has been awhile since I used SMS but it isn't a program you can just wing it. I believe the correct term was publish not advertize but perhaps things have also changed in the latest version of SMS. I would suggest you get just one app to be installed on one test machine before attempting a wider rollout. I remember the big thing was that the pcs showed up in SMS as SMS managable. Do they? A SMS book would be really handy to have about now.
