I was trying to add a network printer in Printers and Faxes but the server could not find the printer which is connected to the network by an ethernet hub. When I upgraded to R2 and used Manage Printers the server found and installed it automatically. I would like to know how to install a network printer on a server that does not have the upgrade. Can it only be done throught Printers and Faxes?

I have several networked printers installed on Server 2003 w/SP1 with no problems. What other type of problems did you run into while trying to install them?
