Hello,
I Know that there probely is not, but is there a way to add a XP HOME computer to a windows domain. NOT just to open the shared folders and printers (like a workgroup)But to have it probley part like an XP pro, which use accounts of the server.
Maby a program that can be downloaded from the net, or to add files, regedit from a XP PRO.
Thanks

No this not what i am looking for, it will just allow me to access shared folders and printers form the server, which XP HOME can do anyway. I was looking for a way to make it a full Domain Client.
Thanks for that idea anyway.

One idea i did think of is to use a VPN connection i don't know if that would work?
And if it did how would i do it?

Really helps to do your homework concerning IT projects. MS web site technet and Google are full of info on the subject.

You are asking why you can't join XP Home to a forest/domain.

MS designed it that way.

If you want to join a forest you have to use Pro.

Imagine the power of knowing how to internet search
