Hello everyone

Not quite the same problem. I am new to using Windows servers so please be patient.

I would like to add an external domain email address, like a hotmail address to one of my distribution lists but cant find anything anywhere... this means its either really easy or not possible!! any help - and step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

If this is for Exchange (SBS uses Exchange), and if the person whose hotmail address you want to add does not need security access to internal network servers, you should use AD users and Computers to create a Contact object for him.

If he/she also needs access to network resources, create a user who is mail enabled, not mailbox enabled, since mailbox enabled means he/she would have an Exchange mailbox.
