hi i am from greece so excuse my english. I have a win2k3 small business server and while everything works fine I get every five minutes userenv errors 1030. microsoft says that group policy cannot be updated but the problem goes deeper. i get also netlogon warnings event id 5781 which refers to DNS malfunction. In dns event page there are errors
"The DNS server has encountered a critical error from the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly. The extended error debug information (which may be empty) is "". The event data contains the error." eventID 4015
All active directory tools are not working properly they are not connected to a domain. When I try to "connect to domain" an error occurs ->"the server is not operational"
how can ifix this mess? Is there a way to determine whether the domain controller service works or not? Please any ideas?
