Hi, I am trying to run window2003 server running well on machine #1 to another m/c#2 which is hp a1600n pavillion where windows server 2003 tries to come back then it fails with a blue screen dump. Thus I tried to create a bootable recovery disk using Acronis. The drivers I have downloaded to a folder from hp side for hp a1600n computer, and assigned to creating Acronis bootable recovery disk option. But for graphics Nividea 1650 LE, it is asking for nv4_disp.dll. I can see that it has already collected nv4_disp.inf but still reporting complaint, and hence operation terminates, and I cannot proceed with creating bootable recovery disk using acronis bootable media creating process. If anyone has come up with this problem, and fixed it, I will appreciate if he can provide solution how to make it run windows server 2003 from one machine to another machine? regards

Normally you install 2003 on the new hardware from scratch, join the domain as a DC, allow ad replication to complete, then backup/restore data/replicate the data, dcpromo down the other dc then rename the servers name in both the server and dns with the same ip as before. You can't move servers or workstations between different hardware since drivers/hal are different which is why you get blue screens/doesn't boot.
