Acrobat IEHelper error

OS: XP prof
CPU/Ram: 512 MB

I have been facing problem from two days. When I open IE then error shown as :

Acrobat IEHelper: iexplore.exe. Application Error

The instruction at "0x37001328" referenced memory at "0x71ab428a". The memory could not be "written"
Click on OK to terminate the program.

you tried uninstalling adobe, seeing if IE works, then reinstalling it?

Click on OK to terminate the program. anyone can help? i did uninstall Adobe but its does not help also do the SFC/scannow still the same. this problem really anoying me. cant do any works.. please.

Unfortunately the only to get rid of that error message is to uninstall windows update kb883939 and reboot your computer. If you don't think uninstalling the update is good idea, then use Firefox. I've done both as test and was successful on both ends
