In the past few days i have been facing a weird problem with Active Directory. Once in a while the computer accounts added to the domain controller gets corrupted and the user cannot login using domain credentials throwing up an error saying the domain controller cannot be contacted.
I tried microsoft's support site and they just say to test connectivity with the server using dcdiag and pinging it an all which is all working fine. Eventhough i found a work around for it by logging in as the local admin and rejoining the computer to the domain, which solves the problem for a while. It is very strange its happening with only 2 or 3 computers and it keep on corrupting twice in a week.
Tried many things out. The primary DNS is also pointing to DC. I donno whats causing the corruption. Mayb you geniuses out there could spare some help.
Thanks

How do you know the computer account is corrupted? Just because the domain user can't log in?
Is the clock off? If it's not synching upon startup, then that could be an issue too.
Is there some sort of security issue where the computer can't change the computer account password for some reason?
How often does this happen? And once you join the domain again, does it ever crop up? How are you first joining the domain? Manually or with some sort of automated deployment process?
Might start a new post with some additional info...
