Did you add the "authenticated users" group to the shared folder and give them full access to their shares? If not, try doing that and then log in as a user and try creating a sub folder or saving files and see if you can't.

Ideally, you create the shared folder (ex: \users) and the user folders are created under it (ex: \users\user1 etc). It's the root shared folder (\users) that you want to add the authenticated users group to.

Thanks for the help. I got it working by mapping a new network drive , sharing it, then setting the permissions. I guess the "Shared Folders (Z:) drive is created by default when W2003 is installed. I can access it but still can't create anything in it even after setting permissions.
