I have a Win2003 DC/AD/DNS server, another 03 DHCP
server and a few 2000/XP Pro clients. I want to setup a
third 03 server with 2 NICs to be a VPN server.

Does the VPN server have to be authorized like the DHCP
server was?

presently I have a Win2000server DC/AD/DNS/VPN/2
NICs/ and another 2000Svr as a DHCP server with a few
2000/XP Pro client, and the VPN works fine. But for the 03
server network i do not want to have the VPN server to
also be the AD/DNS server all in one. I want to have the
VPN server to be only configured as a VPN server.

does the 03VPN server need to get authorized in the AD
like the DHCP server does?

How would the clients trying to access the private network
through the VPN server get into the Domain.

its easy to configure if the VPN server is also the
DC/AD/DNS Server but what if i just have a seperate VPN
only configured server?
