I tried aros magic viewer, and couldn't zoom in...wonder if you have to register it first in order to zoom in. So I don't really have anything to compare to aros since I couldn't zoom in...BUT I work with Fireworks (http://www.macromedia.com/software/fireworks/) by Macromedia ($299, $80 education) and it zooms in somewhat decent. Things don't get too distorted until after 400% or so.
Hope this helps, Kevin

You also have to consider the resolution of the image you are trying to zoom in on- if it's a little 10k thumbnail, it will get blocky no matter what program you use.
