Comment:

I have an internal IDE 100mb zip drive on a dell precision. We moved it to a different domain here in the office and now when i try to access it it says "Z:\ is not acceptible. Access is denied."

I really have no idea what could be causing this, i'm both a local administrator and domain administrator. The drive is only used on this machine and is not shared.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi.
Is Z the designated drive letter for the Zip drive ?. If not have you tried another letter. Also what letter is desagnated to the Zip drive in Control Panel, Systems.

It should help the pc to recognize the zip drive if you go to

and download the iomegaware software. It solved the problem for me. GL.
