xmnt2000 shows up when I run PartitionMagic to resize a partition. Do you have partitionMagic on yours system?

I also get "xmnt2000 program not found, skipping AUTOCHECK" when I try (unsuccessfully) re-size a partition using PartitionMagic (part of ServerMagic).

Has anybody fixed this? I also have Diskeeper for defragmentation, is this a source of conflict?

Ok Folks,
i've had the same problem as the rest of you, and just found a solution. Goto the following website:
http://confignt.hardware.ru/download.htm
(yes i know it isn't english, i have no idea what is says either)

download the 2.5MB zip file which contains xmnt2000.exe. Extract xmnt2000.exe to the
winnt\system32 directory. reboot..and yer problems shall be solved. any questions please email me.

I have found a way to fix this problem through the registry. First, run regedt32 and
go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager
look for: BootExecute, click on this value, then edit.
You may see something like this:
autocheck xmnt2000 /bat=D:\WINNT\System32\PQ_BATCH.PQB /dbg=D:\WINNT\System32\PQ_DEBUG.TXT /ver=262144 /prd=PartitionMagic
autocheck autochk *

remove anything else from this key. It should look like this:

autocheck autochk *

Then reboot your machine.
Win2000 will now boot normally without that
'xmnt200 program not found..skipping AUTOCHK'

Use the I5COMP utility ( http://pagina.netc.pt/~mq34256a/i5comp21.zip ) to extract XMNT2000.exe from PartitionMagic / ServerMagic installation (file data1.cab) and place it in the system32 directory.
Example: "i5comp e d:\ppm6\windows\setup\data1.cab xmnt2000.exe c:\winnt\system32\xmnt2000.exe"
