Comment:

My zone alarm picked up a file trying to access the internet by the name of wuupdt.exe. I have never heard of this as a windows file, so I searched for it and got to this site. The insturctions on the old thread did not seem to work for me and I can't ask for help because the thread is to old. I am using Windows 2000, and after searching for all the files mentioned in the older post on this problem, I seem to have only found 2 copies of wupdt.exe. I deleted the one in my temp folder, but the one in the winnt folder "Access Denied: Soruce File May be in use"
I also deleted wupdt.exe from my registry. What else do I have to do to delete this damn thing?
Thanks in advance,

Skier
