Comment:

recently i found trojan virus in my home pc.

I removed it by virus removal tool.

But how can i make sure some one has not installed any keystroke program or spy ware in my system?. and its still running in my computer.

I am using lavasoft adaware program and detecting and quarntine it.

I beleive certain programs will not be seen in add/remove of windows 2000. but still it will be runing at the back ground.

I am scared to use any online purchases because of this.

Any comment regarding this is apreciated.

Here is a good program that will help you sort out the programs starting up when you start windows.

-reformat your PC; like i said in millions of other threads; monitor your activities online safely
-avoid any unnecessary websites w/ pop-ups/banners
-no matter how much times you run a virus or the latest updates; the viruses that WERE in the PC STILL ARE, but just locked themselves inside your pc

yes I agree with jrIStech , that solution is more fool proof.

But we can not restrict going to some sites , otherwise we will be spending more time validating the authenticity of the site.

Thanks for the sujesion.

Thank u brad its a great tool.

I found some exe running , which i uninstalled the application 3 months back.

I could stop all this useless exe running .

Its a good job.
