Hello everyone
I wonder if you could help, please. It is about a simple silly thing but I just couldn't find a way to solve it. Now, I wanted to write two parallel texts throughout all the pages. Of course one would go to Format/Columns and to select the two columns option for this, and set the right options too, for the box of "Apply to:" However, no matter what I do, when I write and reach the end of the left column, it just continues on to the next top right of the same page. This is what I do not want. I would like to see it in such a way that, the writing of the left column will continue on throughout the pages, remaining on the left, with the writing on the right column also to do the same thing on its proper side. Why, because the left column is English, and the right column is French language, which represent the translation of the English on the left.
I would be very grateful if you could help, please.
Many thanks.
EMILE

It's really simple. Hit the Ctrl+R keys, this will align right. Repeat to remove. While I'm at it Ctrl+l for Left, E for center, B for bold U for underline, and I for italic.

Hello Brown1955
Thanks for the reply. I did what you said, but failed. I am right at the bottom of the first page, on the left column. Though I hit the keys "Ctrl+L" (or "R") and when I continue typing the text, it jumps, not to the next page (left column) as I wanted it, but to right on the top of the same page of the Right column (which I do not want it do).
I need more tutorial, please. Thanks again. Emile

You will need to insert a next page break (not a page break). This will allow you to manually move the cursor to the next page and continue to type.
