This pc runs fine but everyday it will lose connection to the internet. I have to restart the pc to connect again. This is the only way I can reconnect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have At&t dsl service. Again, everything works great except for the connection issue. I have a speedstream 5100 modem.

I would suggest recycling the power on the modem, and your router too if you have one. Unplug it, count a slow ten then plug it back in. If it doesn't happen again, you know it was the modem/router. If it does, then you may need to figure out what device is faulty and if it's the router, replace it. If it's the modem, call your ISP and ask about having it replaced.

^^what CurtR has said also; when did this problem start occuring, did you change the system at all before the computer started disconnecting and has there been any changes to your internet provider at all?
