Won't read my floppy disks (3 1/2)

Since I installed windows 2000, I am unable to read my floppy disks which are in Wordperfect. It keeps telling me I need to format the disk, which is actually full of data I need to recover! HELP!

Find a windows 98 computer and try them in there. If they work, copy the data to the computers hard drive, format them, then copy it back and try it in the 2000 PC.
