Here's my problem.

Yesterday I could connect to Internet via my wireless USB adapter. Then I made some changes in the WAP (which didn't work so I set everyting back as it was before).

Now it says "network cable not connected" when trying to access through the Wireless USB Adapter.

1) The USB adapter works perfectly on my XP machine
2) The "hard cable" works fine when connected to the Win2000-comp.

Both computers are within a yard to the WAP.

/WAP is Netgear W602, USB=Netgear WG111

I've un- and reinstalled the driver to the Wireless USB Adapter without any success.

What is wrong?

Me again.

After 30 minutes I suddenly got a connection. Don't know why it didn't worked before. (The USB receiver is 100 centimeters from the Access Point... so it must have been some sort of atmospheric blur involved or something...)
