Hey,

I recently re-installed my brothers Windows 2000 Computer. It uses a Linksys Wireless-B PCI Wireless Adapter in conjunction with linksys software to connect to the net.

After installing W2000, I popped in the linksys CD, and installed the driver, then the software. Restarted the computer, and it worked fine. It connected to the router, and I had internet access. I then went on to download and install programs, just basic stuff alot of computers have. (Anti-Virus, FireFox, SpyBot, OpenOffice, QuickTime, etc.)

Anyway, randomly the internet stopped working after a reboot, and it said "Network Cable Unplugged.", And thus I lost the internet connection. I have no idea what happened, or what to do. I tried un-installing it, and re-installing it, and it still says "Network Cable Unplugged."

Any ideas?
