Hi there,
My machine runs win2k, I got XP and installed it and it's working fine.
The problem is that it loaded itself onto my D: not my C: as intended.
The question I wanted to ask is, can I simply cut and paste the Windows, doc's and settings and program files of XP on the D: to a windows_XP folder on the C:
would this be safe or should I reinstall?
Thanking you in advance,
Joe.

You'll have to reinstall as far as I know. Why do you feel you have to move it?

I think you are best doing a re-install to c: ; cut 'n pasete etc would be a nightmare to get working OK...
