Winword.exe crash ????

Hi,.... when I open a word file, I have this message:

" The instruction at "0x035792d0" referenced memory at "0x00537000". The memory could not be read "

Can help me please?

Do a search for the normal.dot file. Delete all instances of the file and try opening Word again.

Are u using office2000 or office XP, Try to repair your office using the same CD or try reinstalling it

I've seen this on NT 4.0 installed on Compaq PCs. This problem was then known by MS but couldn't be resolved.

As it turned out, some PCs had the problem and, when they did, the user would, not knowingly, corrupt files.

This message would appear upon openning such a file (when file was corrupted) or at any time on problem PCs.

The only thing we could do was to rebuild (regohst) the machine and pray for the best.

I have installed Office2000, repaired it and re-installed it .... the problem persist !!
