Well, i read a lot of topics about this winmgmt.exe file, but no topic gives me a plain simple answer.
Winmgmt.exe keeps generating errors.
When i look in the event viewer it says this:
The Windows Management Instrumentation service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 30 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service. So it keeps coming back again and again and again. It has to do with this stupid winmgmt.exe file.
So i'd like a simple anwser: what to do... when i need to download something plz give the url with it. Or when i have to get something of my Win2000 cd plz tell me where...
Thnx in advance

I'd suggest first trying to install/reinstall the Service Pack 2 for Windows. Just go to the Windows Update site and see what's available. If that doesn't work, try starting a new post, and look and see if any other errors are cropping up in the Event Viewer....

WEll i already did that about 2 times...but i will do it once more and then i'll post some off the errors it creates in a new post....
Thnx m8
