I keep getting the 'winmgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows' error.
I've tried the winmgmt/clearadap but no fix is made.

I have the same problem. It started after Voquette Media Manager was installed.

I had that trouble too.
I didn't fix it but I got rid of it. Go to "Control Panel", "Administrative Tools", "Services", the look for "Windows Management Instrumentation", right button, "properties", and in "Startup Type" switch to "disable".
