Comment: from previous post, Win2K Not Completing Boot, i have now found in task manager that winlogon.exe is using 100% of the CPU and not allowing it to boot up completely. any ideas on how to get to final boot up to run virus and spy/adaware scans?? thanks!

Reply: (edit)Hi, probably you have malware, spyware affecting your system performance. Try to eliminate processes in the task bar to facilitate windows logon. Try to boot in safe mode, and pass addaware ... Good luck kopustes MicroWan Ethical Hacking http://www.microwan.net
