Winlogon Script error

CPU/Ram: Intel Celeron/127MB SDRAM

I recently upgraded to Windows 2000 within the last month. Over the past week I upgraded from AOL dialup to Verizon DSL. It was after the upgrade to Verizon when i started experiencing the problem.

Every so often while Internet Explorer is running, I get a run-time error message. This is then followed by:

(if the above picture fails to show correctly follow the link encased in the tags)

When this dialog box shows, I have have two options. If I click the "ok" button, my computer reboots because the logon script is disabled. The second option "cancel" takes me to the MS Script editor.

Neither of the tqo are desirable options. Any help with this issue is greatly appriciated.

I have a feeling that AOL is your problem.
Did you uninstall all of AOL?

AOL can messup a perfectly good computer. My suggestion is to format and install windows 2ooo again. Then install the software Verizen gave you.

Make certain to backup any important data files first.
