I am running windows 2000 on my laptop. I dont know why but Internet explorer wasnt working properly so i decided to use the repair option on the installation cd. While it was 'repairing' (dont ask me why) but i took the cd out and now when i start my computer the windows installation screen pops up. I go ahead with the option but after a while it gives me a blue error message(for like 1 sec) then it restarts. I REALY REALY need the files on the HD. please help,

thanks,

A Emadi

Can you boot from the "repair" cd and run this again from the beginning ?

otherwise (if you're in a hurry) put the HD as a slave in another computer, then you can access the files without any problems. Then you can try and fix you're system later, when you have time.
