Windows Update Can't display page

CPU/Ram: 800/512

i just reformatted my bro comp and installed the wireless D-link software to get internet. I then go to windows update and Update gets the latest verison of itself automatically. I then click scan for updates and it gives me the message.(Windows update error. Can't display page)

Can anyone help me plz???

Maybe reduce the Security Settings on the Browser - it might not let the ActiveX commands run that Windows Update needs.
