Hi
I've received a computer from a flatmate who
has returned to Australia. I cannot login as
i do not know her windows logon password and
i cannot get in touch with her. I have tried
logging in many ways such as using
Administrator as a username and such. There
is no way i can get into windows. I have a
windows 2000 cd which i thought i could
stick in and re-install windows however when
i re-boot it just goes straight to the login
window. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Check to see if you have your cd-rom booting before your hard drive in your bios. If you don't your won't be able to boot off the cd. Once you do this you should be able to reinstall.
