Comment:
The menu bar in my Windows explorer screen has disappeared. The options for file, edit, view, etc. are no longer there. Only the top blue title bar and the window showing my folders are there. Pressing alt-f doesn't drop down the file menu. How can I get the menu back to normal??

What happens when you right click on any blank grey area? The buttons you are missing are called the standard buttons and need to be checked to display. Also, have you tried to slowly pass the mouse vertically over the edges of whatever you do have and get a handle to drag the bars down.
