I'm using the M$ MCSE exam 70-290 book (excercise 4 pg 3-34) and I can't get the profile to copy to the user. I keep getting an error when logging on as the user: Windows did not load your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with your local profile....then Windows cannot find the local profile and is loggin you on with a temp profile.....I created a profile template and am trying to copy off that to set up a preconfigured user profile. Any ideas/suggestions?

Have you shared the directory of where the profile is kept, also check your permissions?

I checked the path. I think it's ok. They had it set up as \\server01\profiles\sales

This is where the profiles folder is. It's on the C drive. I thought it might have something to do with not being on the D drive as well so I copied it over there and still no go. Also, the account ID is danielle.tiedt@contoso.com and I can only log in with the pre-Win2k login of dtidt Anyone know why that would be? Am I doing something wrong by typing that user name danielle.tiedt then the password without the @contoso.com?? Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
