Hi. I tried logging on to my computer this morning, and this is the message it gave me :(
"Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted."
I've tried searching for a solution, but most of the procedure on the internet is for windows XP, and I'm not sure if it works the same for windows 2000.
If you can tell me how i could fix this, it'd be greatly appreciated^^ Please bear in mind though, that i'm only 15... so I don't really understand advance things that much. [I've searched the forum... but they're sort of confusing for me to understand =S so can someone explain to me close to step by step please?]
Thanks in advance!

First thing to try is to press F8 as soon as windows starts to load and choose SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND PROMPT. Then type chkdsk /F and press ENTER. Reboot when chkdsk is finished.
If you still get the error, is there another user, preferably an administrator, who you can try to log in as? If so, you could at least access your data right away by drilling down through the "documents and settings" folder.
Peter
