I have a user that lost his admin password for windows 2k laptop. Can I reinstall and set a new password, or do I have to reformat and then reinstall. Thanks

Yes you can reinstall and set a new password. Always create two profiles in win2k, so if one profile goes bad you can always use the other to administer the OS.
