After I installed DirectX 8 API on Windows 2000, Windows can start ONLY in safe mode. I de-install DirectX, but it did not help. If I don't choose a Safe mode - Windows never start - they are keeping re-booting again and again. Please help! Thank you, Olga

There's a driver or program causing problem when you boot. Check the Startup folder, & the run key in the registry.

How can I start system like this except reinstall system?
Also, the system has EFS folders, how do I recover those after the re-installation of OS.
