When I go to windows updates my computer freezes as soon as the screen starts to load. I have left it for 24 hours to see if it is just hung up but it was still frozen. I have sp4 on it but would like to get other updates. This is the only screen it frezes on. Do you have any suggestions?

Try going to Windows Update by not using the link you currently use. Below is a different path to the post SP4 rollup. There are some additional critical updates after the rollup too. You may need to download a newer version of Windows installer.
