Hello! I seem to have somehow deleted my Windows 2000 operating sounds. Is there a place where I can download them free? I've been hunting around the internet, but I'm not finding anything. My brother installed the OS on this machine, and so I don't have the original installation cds... Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you know what kind of sound card you have (Make, model, ect). Or is it a embedded chip on the motherboard?
Is this a brandname machine? What is the make and model?
If its a generic PC, and the chip is embedded, what is the make and model of the motherboard?

I don't know of any place to download the sound files, but you could at least use different sound files that you can download off the net to take the place of the system sound files. For instance http://www.wavcentral.com/ should have files small enough to work for ya. Hope that helps!
