Hi, I've trouble on my windows'2000 shutdown after I change the registry. When I'm rewrite again the standart registry, it doesn't work. Windows cannot shutdown (when i click shutdown, it's restart again). Can someone help me for my problem

Try hitting F8 at boot-up and load last good configuration. That should set the registry back to what it was before you made changes.

Anyone know a command prompt utility or command line to shutdown windows 2000. Killwin works great for win98 but not 2000.

As I know only w2k installed as ACPI-PC do like WIN98. Itīs been tested. A Standard-PC Install needs the finger for the button after shutdown-message. Any other idea?

there is shutdown.exe contained in RessourceKit and it works fine.
