Comment:
I just reinstalled windows 2000. In the windows updates service pack four was the only availabe service pack. (other than all the ones for IE and things) What happened to service pack 1, 2, and 3? With SP4 do I need the other service packs? If yes do then need to be installed in order?

Yes, SP4 includes SP 1,2, and 3 hotfixes in it. All service packs from MS are cumulative. Also, the ASP.NET user account is so you can run .NET enabled software system wide. I would not delete it if I were you.

If I were you I would go into the account properties for ASPNET account and diable it. That way if you need it in the future, it is there and still you have sealed up your system.
