Ok here the delemma, muh friend and i are connected through a cross over connection, and my cable modem is wired to me by usb. i have set up internet connection sharing on my connection through the modem. I am running Windows 2000 Advance Server and he is running Windows 2000 Pro. I cannot get his computer to read the net, but it sees my computer with no problem, so this is confusing, i thought it migh be because he was set up to use a DHCP server but thats not the case. We have tried many things, and if im leaving info out that you might need just tell me. well i hope u guys can help.
