I know this is really simple, but i am very new to networking. Can i create a domain on Windows 2000 server or do i have to have Windows 2000 Advanced Server???? If i can on windows 2000 server how do i do it???
Thanks For Your Help. I know this is really simple it is just that i am new to networking need to know which os to put on my server

Yes you can. You need to decide if you are going to use Active Directory (AD) or not. It's handy but complex so if you are new, I would recommend waiting on the AD part.
If you set up AD, make sure you have the Domain name you like because once you set it up, you can't change it without starting from scratch.
Links can be irritating but these really are useful ones.
