I have windows 2000 and the system keeps rebooting. It starts of ok and then before the desktop is displayed the system reboots. I don't know what to do. Please help.

I have a Athlon 600 with win2000 and I find if I am useing internet, system just reboots
I have installed all new drivers even downloaded IE^ for win 2000, and same thing is happening, could it be the processor?.

There could be numerous reasons for that.
Did you install the W2K on a sep partition?
I previously had this issue when I brought back a DriveImage from PowerQuest.
I think the resolution was fairly simple, just run FDISK /mbr from a bootable Win98 disk.
If you have a BootMagic loaded at startup, it will kick it out, but you just need to re-select it after you logon correctly.

if the motherboard you are using is an asus board or you are using Norton internet firewall 3 then is a know issue... lol

I have the same problem...My system keeps rebooting when the ascii progress bar reaches 100%. I don't know what to do. The problem occured right after the installation. The BIG problem is that I can't switch to Safe Mode. It freezes!
I have a AMD K6-2 450 on a Soyo 5EH1 motherbaord. I did the recomended BIOS update but still nothing.

Please help. Thank you.
