Hey, Anyone got any idea on how i can host my domain on win2k pro... all i need now is to get a dns server installed on my comp to use and i will be fine... but i can't find ANYTHING or any dns server for win2k that has worked yet! If i did i wouldn't be here (lol) but anyways any help would be nice! Thanks, Russ

you cannot.... you should be running windows 2000 server if you want to have a domain with Active Directory . Active Directory directory service relies on DNS for name resolution and for the location of active directory components in a network. You must configure the DNS infrastructure prior to installing Active Directory or let the Active Directory automatically configure the DNS server.
