CPU/Ram: PIII - 128 MB

On Windows 2000 Professional machine i am not able to login as normal domain user. When any domain user logins in, no error messages are displayed but Desktop settings are not coming up.. when i press and see Task Manager, all process are running.. i tried to run explorer.exe from default folder.. still no chance
from Task Manager i can even get network connections.
i have executed Win2K Pro SP3 once again.. still the problem is not solved

pl. help me

Looks like the domain server has been configured to impose policy restrictions to its users. These, among other things, can make the desktop icons disappear and hide options from the Start Menu.

Contact your system administrator.
