Comment: Just after boot up after installation windows 2000 gives a message "can not load ntkrnlmp.exe Error code is 7" Can somebody help me?

Reply: (edit)Yeah...thats common. press del (delete key)while the machine is booting to get into the BIOS. Navigate using the arrows to the boot up order area. The boot order should be as follows first cdrom second HD 0 third floppy Toss your cd in and boot her up...It will install now. Dont forget to reset the BIOS to order : first HD0 sec. CDrom third floppy, after you are all done installing NTLDR is on the CD therefore the machine must first boot the CD to install
