Windows 2000, Diamond Viper 770: The driver comming with MicroSoft Windows 2000 install just does not work (black screen), and could only boot in VGA mode.
This following web site give a link to the NVIDIA web site, just click on NVIDIA Riva 128/TNT/TNT2.
The driver there works just fine, on WIN2000 with SP1.
I installed SP1 trying to fix this problem, it did not. Suggest that MS does a better testing job, and includes the "right driver".

Checkout the similar thread about nVidia & Windows 2000. Get the Detonator3 drivers from the nVidia site, and just tell it not to "fix" it with the Microsoft-signed drivers. It told me too that the MS drivers would work better, but they didn't. Use nVidia's...
