Windows 2000 destroys Zip Disk data

I left a zip disk in my Iomega Zip Drive upon bootup of Windows 2000 Professional. Windows 2000 changed the files into ones that are no longer accessible. It creates a directory named Found.000 and puts the files in it. I'm sure it is not virus related.

Found.XXX is Win2K's version of the good ol' .CHK files left as a result of errors found during scandisk.... It looks like Win 2K found what it considered errors on your zipdisk. Whether the disk is acutally faulty or not is still questionable, however....
